Brazil lost to Japan in the last game between the teams; see how it was
Brazil and Japan enter the field at 2 pm (Brasília time) this Monday (29), in a game of the round of 32 of the World Cup. Confident, the Japanese cling to the result of the last friendly against the Brazilian team: the 3-2 victory.
The goals for Carlo Ancelotti's men were scored by Paulo Henrique and Gabriel Martinelli, in the first half. In the final stage, Minamino, Fabrício Bruno (against) and Ueda scored for the turnaround and the first Japanese victory in the history of the confrontation.
The game
The first 20 minutes of the match were an attempt to pressure the Japanese, who climbed the marking lines to disrupt the Brazilian ball. However, from the first Brazilian goal, in the 26th minute of the opening stage, the Seleção began to control the duel.
After a combination of passes between Paulo Henrique, Lucas Paquetá and Bruno Guimarães, the Newcastle midfielder found Vasco's right-back in depth. Paulo Henrique invaded the area and hit the outside of his foot to score.
At 32, Brazil scored the second goal. Martinelli ran behind the Japanese defense, Paquetá played over the marker and the Arsenal striker finished with a cross to expand.
In the second half, Ancelotti's team still controlled the game when, in the 7th minute, Fabrício Bruno lost his balance inside the penalty area and gave the ball to the foot of Monaco forward Minamino, who shot past Hugo Souza to reduce it.
Cruzeiro's defender was once again the protagonist in Japan's equalizer. Nakamura received a cross and hit it first time. Fabrício Bruno tried to take it and ended up deflecting it into his own goal.
In the 26th minute, Ueda rose above the mark on a corner kick and headed over Hugo Souza. The Corinthians goalkeeper tried to make the save, but was unable to save it with enough force and saw the ball die in the back of the goal, allowing the Japanese team to come back.

Brazil entered the field with: Hugo Souza, Paulo Henrique, Fabrício Bruno, Beraldo and Carlos Augusto; Casemiro and Bruno Guimarães; Luiz Henrique, Lucas Paquetá, Vinicius Júnior and Gabriel Martinelli.
None of the defenders, it is worth mentioning, were called up by Ancelotti to compete in the World Cup.
On the other side, coach Hajime Moriyasu, selected Japan with: Zion Suzuki, Watanabe, Suzuki and Tanigushi; Sano, Nakamura, Kamada and Ueda; Kubo, Minamino and Doan.
Minamino, one of the team's highlights, did not go to the World Cup due to an injury.
