Brasileirão Feminino: CBF changes schedule for two Corinthians games

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) changed the schedules for Corinthians Women's games against Flamengo and Santos, valid for the 15th and 16th rounds of the Brazilian Championship of the sport. Previously scheduled to start at 8 pm, the duel against Rubro Negro was brought forward to 6:30 pm (Brasília time) on the same day, August 3, Monday, at the Estádio Luso-Brasileiro, in Rio de Janeiro.
The classic Alvinegro against Santos, at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, was held on August 9, Sunday, but went from 8 pm to 4 pm (Brasília time). The changes were defined by the national entity on June 30th. According to the organization, the changes took place following requests from those responsible for broadcasting rights, with the aim of readjusting to the larger SporTV (Grobo Globo's closed network).

As Brabas, it is worth remembering, are currently leading the general table of the national competition with 28 points, nine wins, one draw and only two defeats - 31 goals scored and 13 conceded. With only five games remaining until the end of the first phase, Alvinegro is heading towards the quarter-finals - the top eight placed will advance.
Emily Lima's men will return to the pitch on July 17th, Friday, when they will face Ferroviária, at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, in the fourth round of the first qualifying phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino. In the first three rounds, they scored four points in three games - nine goals scored and four conceded.
This same meeting will take place in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil, on July 3rd, Thursday, at 3pm, in Araraquara, at Arena Fonte Luminosa. In the Brasileirão Feminino, Timão will play again on July 26th at 11 am, at Fazendinha, for the 13th round of the classification phase of the national competition, against Vitória.
In addition to the Campeonato Paulista, Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil, Corinthians will compete in the Women's Libertadores in the second half of the year. The international competition will take place between October 15th and 31st, in Ecuador. Alvinegro is the biggest winner of the tournament with six titles - 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
