Blue Ivy and Beyoncé's resemblance at an event is impressive

Blue Ivy, 14, appeared wearing braids at an event alongside her father, Jay-Z, 56, and the look caught the attention of fans, who immediately noticed the young woman's resemblance to her mother, Beyoncé, 44, who has worn her hair in a similar way at public events.

"She's exactly as if Beyoncé and Jay Z had a daughter together", joked one internet user. The event celebrates 30 years since the release of Jay-Z's first album, "Reasonable Doubt."

On Sunday (21), Cécred, Beyoncé's haircare brand, shared a behind-the-scenes video of the rapper's change of look, which left his dreadlocks aside and, for the first time, showed off his natural strands in a black power style.

Beyoncé stated that the decision involved the intention of encouraging Blue Ivy to see beauty in her natural hair. "I always thought it was beautiful that the real reason Jay grew his hair was to show Blue [the couple's eldest daughter] that her hair was like his," the singer revealed in the mini-documentary "The Blueprint."
