Sabrina Teitelbaum, known artistically as Blondshell, has officially announced the release of her third studio album, entitled *Violins*, scheduled for September 25th via Partisan Records. To mark this news, the 29-year-old singer and songwriter also released the album's title track, which maintains the raw intensity and characteristic grunge style that made her famous. The song "Violins" brings a sound full of emotion and lyrics that mix images of tenderness and violence, reflecting the complexity of the themes covered in the album. In an excerpt of the song, Blondshell sings: "You showed your hand, snapped my wristband. A pat on the ass like snow on a hill", demonstrating the strength and vulnerability present in the composition. The release of the track was accompanied by an official music video directed by Sabra Binder, which shows Blondshell performing the song in environments that evoke feelings of transition and introspection. When talking about the creative process behind the song, Sabrina explained that "Violins" summarizes the essence of the album. She was drawn to images that express patience and kindness, such as resting her head on someone's shoulder, contrasting with scenes of violence. The artist also highlighted her inspiration in the idea of a gradual healing process, without rushing or external pressure: "Things really take their time. I'm not yet at the point in life where I can have a 'no idiots' policy, but I like the idea of eliminating people who don't allow me to have limitations." The album has 11 tracks and, according to Blondshell, features a denser and less literal sound than their previous works, with greater use of poetic images. His main objective was to create impactful songs, with striking choruses that leave a lasting impression on the listener. On her social networks, the artist commented that with each new project the music comes closer to what she really wants to express. To promote *Violins*, Blondshell is planning a tour that will take in North America, the UK and Europe, including their biggest show to date in London at the iconic Roundhouse, scheduled for December 15th. Expectations are high, especially after the success of the previous album, *If You Asked For A Picture*, which received a positive evaluation from specialized critics, highlighting the artist's emotional and musical evolution. In addition to the title track, Blondshell had already released "Heart Has To Work So Hard", which is part of the new album. The complete list of *Violins* songs is as follows: 1. Violins 2. Heart Has To Work So Hard 3. Lucky 4. Sea Legs 5. New Shape 6. Stone Fruit 7. Two Fried 8. New Age Trojan Horse 9. Knotted 10. Reinstall 11. Fur Elise With *Violins*, Blondshell reaffirms its place in the contemporary indie scene, bringing a work that combines emotional intensity, deep lyrics and a sound that evolves without losing its grunge roots. The release promises to further consolidate his career and delight old and new fans.
