♬ The Black Pantera trio's fifth studio album is called "Continental" and is scheduled for release on August 21st. The song "Start the game" was the track chosen to open the promotional work for the album "Continental" in a single scheduled for July 13th.
In the concept of Chaene da Gama (bass and vocals), Charles Gama (voice and guitar) and Rodrigo Pancho (drums and percussion), the album "Continental" talks about Brazil in lyrics that deal with "ancestral issues", approached from the experiences of the members of the thrash metal and hardcore punk band from Minas Gerais.
Successor to the album "Perpétuo" (2024) in Black Pantera's studio discography, the album "Continental" had the original and original repertoire recorded by the trio in January, at the Tambor studio, in the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
The decision to release the album on August 21st sounds strategic because, two weeks later, precisely on September 5th, the group will perform at Rock in Rio 2026, certainly already including songs from this fifth studio album in the itinerary of the festival presentation.
