Black Jack rekindles Brazilian Hard Rock with the album "Chase The Light"

The Brazilian band Black Jack arrives with renewed strength on the national rock scene with the album "Chase The Light", released in May 2026. Formed in Taubaté, in the interior of São Paulo, the group bets on a sound that mixes Hard Rock, Glam Rock, Classic Rock and a lot of stage energy. With Rafael Zanco on vocals, Thiago Sambora and Luis Garzón on guitars, Johnny Marcelo on bass and Caio Rossetti on drums, Black Jack seeks to rescue the essence of classic bands like Kiss, Queen, Deep Purple and Whitesnake, but with a modern and accessible language. The new album marks a more mature phase for the band. The tracks feature English lyrics, strong choruses, striking guitars and themes linked to celebration, overcoming and loving others. Before that, the group had already surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify with their first album. Black Jack's strength also appears outside of digital platforms. The band has already attended important events such as Rock in Rio 2024, Capital Moto Week and Amplifica Fest, in addition to accumulating more than 350 thousand followers on social media. With "Chase The Light", Black Jack positions itself as one of the great promises of current Brazilian Hard Rock, showing that the genre is still alive, powerful and capable of winning over new generations.
