Belmont Cameli tells what to expect from season 2 of "Off Campus"

Actor Belmont Cameli, 28, revealed details about the second season of "Off Campus" to GQ Magazine, last Wednesday (17). After the success of the couple Hannah and Garret in the first season of the adaptation, Dean and Allie will be the main focus of the next episodes.

"You'll see a lot of Hannah and Garret again this season. We have another narrative arc. Dean and Allie will be the main focus of this season," said the actor in an interview with the American magazine.

Belmont Cameli seemed to be super eager for viewers to see the new interactions of the new couple in the sequel. "The fans will be very, very, very happy with what the two of them are going to present. I can't say a single word about Garrett. You'll have to watch the series," he added.

The "Off Campus" star also said that his character is a fusion of the vision of creator Louis Levy and the original Garret from the book, written by Elle Kennedy. "I really wanted Garrett to be like a regular guy. I didn't want him to be a popular athlete, an untouchable presence on campus. I wanted him to be like a guy I would approve of, and Garrett is like that," Belmont said.

About "Off Campus"
The Prime Video series became the third biggest launch in streaming history, recording 36 million views in just 12 days. The work is a literary adaptation of "The Agreement", the first volume of the book saga "Amores Improbáveis", bestseller by Elle Kennedy.

In the first season, eight episodes follow the development of the love story between Hannah and Garret. The franchise follows a group of friends from the hockey team at the fictional Briar University, in the United States.

Elle Kennedy's books follow the group's love stories, so that, in each book, a different couple is highlighted. In total, there are five volumes, entitled "The Agreement" (2015), "The Error" (2015), "The Game" (2016), "The Conquest" (2016) and "The Legacy" (2021).

Among Prime Video's literary adaptations, "Off Campus" surpassed other streaming hits, such as "The Summer that Changed My Life", "Minha Culpa" and "Maxton Hall".
