Barcelona defeats Lyonnes and is four-time champion of the Women's Champions League

Barcelona beat Lyonnes 4-0, this Saturday (23), and became four-time champions of the Women's Champions League. The decision was held at the Ullevaal Stadion, located in Oslo, Norway.

Ewa Pajor, the Spanish team's striker, began deciding the final with two goals scored, both scored in the second half. She finished as the competition's top scorer, with 11 goals in 10 matches played. Salma Paralluelo scored twice at the end of the duel and sealed the result.

This was Barça's fourth continental title, which also won the tournament in the 2020-21, 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. This year, coach Pere Romeu's team also won the Spanish League, the Copa de la Reina and the Spanish Super Cup.

Lyonnes, the biggest champion of the Champions League with eight wins, came second for the fourth time in history. On the other hand, the club lifted the French Cup and League Cup and is in the final of the national league.

About the match
After a first half without many great chances to score, the second half started with a good opportunity for Lyonnes. Center forward Ada Hegerberg received the ball in the middle of the defense, invaded the area and made a good save from goalkeeper Cata Coll.

Later, in the 10th minute, Barcelona responded with Polish Ewa Pajor. She was activated by midfielder Patricia Guijarro, finished cross and opened the score in favor of the Spanish team.
