Bandits invade studio, make video call and execute tattoo artist in Sorriso

Tattoo artist Leandro Perboni, aged 44, was shot to death this Saturday afternoon (27), in Sorriso. The crime occurred on Rua da Alegria, in the Boa Esperança I neighborhood, and also left a 34-year-old man injured. According to the police report, the Military Police were called by Copom after reports of gunshots. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found Leandro lying outside the residence, with several holes caused by gunshots. A team from the Military Fire Department was already at the property and confirmed the victim's death. While responding to the incident, the police received information that a second victim had been rescued by third parties and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in the East Zone. At the scene, the team found that the man had been shot in the right abdomen. According to a preliminary medical assessment, he is not at risk of death. Initial information indicates that three men arrived at Leandro's residence and went to a building at the back of the property, where the victim's tattoo studio was located. The suspects captured the tattoo artist and made a video call using a cell phone. Afterwards, Leandro was dragged to the outside area of the house, where the criminals fired several firearms, killing him on the spot. The second man, who was also in the residence, was shot during the action. After the crime, the suspects fled in a black Volkswagen Gol, which had a sticker from the "Urbano 66" app transport company. The Military Police isolated the area until the arrival of the Civil Police and Official Forensics and Technical Identification (Politec) teams, responsible for the forensic work and beginning the investigations. The characteristics of the three suspects and the vehicle used in the escape were passed on to the police teams, who carried out efforts to identify and locate the perpetrators of the execution.
