The band Slayer announced this Friday (29) that they will perform a unique show in Brazil, on December 17th this year. The presentation will take place at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, shortly after the quartet passes through Colombia, Chile and Argentina.

Pre-sales for Artists and Itaú customers begin next Monday (1), at 1 pm (Brasília time), and for the general public, on Wednesday (3), starting at 11 am. Tickets range from R$180 to R$890 and will be sold on the Livepass platform.

Slayer was formed in 1982 in Huntington Park, California, by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, who were joined by bassist and vocalist Tom Araya and drummer Dave Lombardo.

According to the Spotify description, they started out playing covers of songs by the bands Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, but decided to explore a satanic and threatening imagination and aesthetic to attract attention and gain fans.

The group has already come to Brazil on other dates. The first show took place at the 1994 and 1998 editions of the Monsters of Rock festival, followed by performances in 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2019.
