Áxia (formerly Eletrobras) was the winner of Lot 9 of the transmission auction promoted by Aneel this Friday (3). The company presented a proposal for Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) of R$ 16.2 million, equivalent to a discount of 57.24% in relation to the maximum revenue expected for the project.

The lot brings together R$ 224.6 million in investments, destined for the construction, assembly, operation and maintenance of new transmission facilities in São Paulo. The project comprises 19 kilometers of transmission lines, in addition to the expansion of 300 MVA of transformation capacity in substations, expected to create 641 direct jobs.

The maximum RAP established by Aneel is R$37.91 million annually. Entry into commercial operation is scheduled for December 26, 2029, as stated in the notice published in February 2026.

The project is part of the set of concessions renewed after the extinction of the concessions previously held by MEZ Energia.

Cymi, EDP and Consórcio Olympus also participated in the dispute.
