Australia announces two friendlies against Brazil for September

The Australian team announced this Sunday (28) two friendlies against the Brazilian team scheduled for the end of September.

On social media, Australia stated that the games will take place on the 25th and 29th, in the cities of Townsville and Brisbane.

These should be Brazil's first games after the World Cup.

"We will face Brazil - five-time FIFA World Cup champion - in a series of two friendlies in Townsville and Brisbane, now in September", he wrote, in a post on social media.

So far, the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) has not commented on the games.

Brazil takes the field against Japan this Monday (29), at 2pm. The match takes place at NRG Stadium, in Houston, Texas, in the second phase.

Also in Texas, Australia faces Egypt on Friday (3), at 3pm at AT&T Stadium, in Dallas.
