Cousins spoke about the repercussion

Launched in February this year, the documentary "The Testament: The Secret of Anita Harley" was among the most watched titles on Globoplay.
But beyond the legal imbroglio, the businesswoman's second cousins, Juliana and Andréa Lundgren stole the show.
Injecting a "reality show" tone into the series, the sisters' participation became a meme, a catchphrase and is being replicated by content creators and the public on the internet.
The section with the greatest repercussion is when they react to the family's supposed consent to the romance between Anita and Sônia Soares, Suzuki.
"Aunt Helena hated Suzuki. She said she was a scammer! She called her a scammer", they say together, one complementing the other.
To g1, the Lundgren sisters spoke for the first time about the scare of fame and behind the scenes of the series. See the full interview below.
Reaction to seeing themselves on television
Recorded at the end of 2025, the project left the sisters apprehensive until the moment of release. On February 23, the date of the premiere, the duo chose to watch the episodes separately, each in their own home.
Andréa "marathoned" them all in sequence. Juliana only watched one episode at a time. The initial reaction of both was shyness before the exhibition.
"I was embarrassed to death", says Juliana. "I thought: 'Oh my God, they're going to think we're crazy'", says Andréa.

Feet on the ground
The release of the five episodes of the series triggered demand for the duo's story, which became recognized in public. "I was at the grocery store checkout and I heard: 'You're the one who said that Aunt Helena hated Suzuki, right?'", recalls Juliana.
The repercussion also forced some changes. Andréa, who maintained a private profile on Instagram, opened the account to interact with her new followers. "Sometimes I go to sleep for two, three hours in the morning, just answering people", he says.

Today, the two accumulate just under 10 thousand followers on the platform and have already had their "catchphrases" replicated by content creators and media personalities, such as actor Lucas Leto.
The video surpasses the 200 thousand views mark.

But despite the numbers, they say they are not dazzled by the reach of memes.
"We are loving the public's affection, but we are not 'overwhelmed' by fame", they say.
What they do, where they live
Off the screen, the sisters maintain routines in different cities. Andréa, 53 years old, is an insurance broker and lives in Boa Viagem, in the South Zone of Recife. Juliana, aged 45, has a degree in Nursing and lives in Olinda.
Despite the family connection, Andréa and Juliana clarify that they are not direct heirs of Anita Harley (who they call their aunt, despite being second cousins).

Both have a share in the profits of Casas Pernambucanas as shareholders, but the legal dispute over the assets runs parallel to their participation in the series. "What is at stake there is inheritance", points out Andréa.
The duo also has an older sister, who has lived in Rio de Janeiro since she was 16 and does not appear in the production.
For the right to love
Camila Appel, director of the series and one of the journalists responsible for investigating the case, says she was surprised by the reach of the work and, especially, by the "comical turn" on social media.
"There was never a deliberate intention of us, nor of the Lundgren sisters, for this to become a comedy. The memes are an unintentional repercussion and were a surprise", she explains.

The documentary filmmaker highlights that the decision to interview Andréa and Juliana together came after previous conversations, where she noted the complementary dynamic between the two. However, she reinforces that the basis of the documentary remains a family tragedy.
"For me, this has always been a very sad story. We are talking about a fight over money, but over affection first and foremost. The big question is who Anita really loved", he points out.
Second season?
Despite the appeal on social media, the series' continuity has not yet been officially confirmed.
The outcome of the story remains open due to the state of health of Anita Harley and the progress of proceedings in the Superior Court of Justice (STJ).
Currently, the Court is analyzing the appeals of Suzuki and Cristine Rodrigues' stable union, separately, in addition to the request for recognition of Artur's socio-affective motherhood. businesswoman wakes up from a coma, the director considers that, although it is unlikely according to experts, the case remains surrounded by uncertainty: "She is clinically alive, so anything can happen."

The documentary presents two central sides: on the one, there is Cristine Rodrigues, a trusted secretary indicated in the living will as responsible for Anita's care.
On the other, Sônia Soares, Suzuki, an employee who lived in the mansion and presents herself as the heiress' companion.
