Ateez launches MV with Latin influences and appearance by Chase Infiniti
The K-pop group Ateez released, this Friday (26), the EP "Golden Hour: Part 5", which has several references to Latin culture and a music video that features the special appearance of actress Chase Infiniti, star of the film "One Battle After Another", a film that won the Oscar for "Best Film" in 2026.
The mini-album has five tracks, including the single "Bad", which featured the video in which the actress appears. Chase Infiniti's participation caught the attention of fans, as the star is an avowed fan of the group and, during college, was part of a K-pop cover group called "Duple Dance Crew".
"Bad" mixes languages, switching between Korean, English and Spanish, which is already common in Ateez's discography. The story of the music video features narratives involving jealousy, relationships and a wedding party, interrupted by the group members.
In addition to "Bad", the song "Mamacita" also has a strong Latin influence, a feature that Ateez has included in other songs throughout their career, in songs like "Blind" and "Arriba".
With Latin references increasingly present in their works and the wave of K-pop shows in Brazil, fans are questioning and creating hope that the group can return to performing in the country. Ateez came to Brazil in 2023 for a unique performance at Allianz Parque, with the tour "The Fellowship: Break the Wall", which included dates in Mexico, Chile and Colombia.
