Next appointment
After the victory, Corinthians turns its attention to another commitment in the National Futsal League. Next Friday (17), at 8pm (Brasília time), Timão visits São José, at Ginásio Altos de Santana, in a direct confrontation in the fight against the last positions in the table.
First half
The match started evenly, but it was Minas who created the first opportunity. After an error when the Corinthians ball came out, Farina finished dangerously, but sent it out. Shortly afterwards, Lucas Oliveira needed to work for the first time. Higo found Raul free inside the area, and the pivot finished first time, forcing the Corinthians goalkeeper to make a good save.
Corinthians responded next. Maicon took a risk from medium distance and brought danger to the goal defended by Anderson. Afterwards, Caio Barros received a pass from Fabinho and forced the opposing goalkeeper to palm the ball.
As the minutes passed, Timão began to control the offensive actions. Vinícius Paiva tried twice, OitoMeia almost scored with a volley after a corner kick and Igor Bredof also stopped in good interventions by Anderson, who became the main highlight of the Minas Gerais team.
In the final minutes of the opening stage, Corinthians created their best opportunity. Renatinho finished, Anderson saved and, on the rebound, Maicon appeared free to finish. Minas' goalkeeper, however, managed to recover quickly and avoided the black and white goal. Thus, the teams went to halftime with the score zero.
Second half
Corinthians came back pressing from the first minutes. Igor Bredof finished early on and saw Anderson make another good save.
Despite the strong pressing of both teams, Timão continued to create the best opportunities. Kaio Lopes almost opened the scoring with a free kick, but again stopped at the opposing goalkeeper. The black and white insistence was rewarded after nine minutes. After an error when the ball was released by Minas, Lucas Martins regained possession and found Rick free. The number 17 dominated and finished to open the scoring at Wlamir Marques.
Shortly afterwards, Corinthians expanded. In another failure by the Minas Gerais team to release the ball, Da Bonja, who had just entered, took advantage of the surplus and hit the first time to score Corinthians' second goal. In search of a reaction, Minas started using the goalkeeper. The strategy had an effect in the 16th minute, when Maia found Raul free. The pivot spun around the marker and finished low to reduce the advantage.
After conceding the goal, Fernando Malafaia asked for a technical timeout to reorganize the team. The answer came quickly. Lucas Martins found Fabinho inside the area, and the pivot spun around the marker before finishing strongly to score Corinthians' third goal and give the final numbers to the match. In the final minutes, Timão controlled possession of the ball, neutralized the opponent's attacks and confirmed the important 3 x 1 victory in front of the fans.
