Right-back Léo Mana, on loan from Corinthians to Criciúma, has an undefined future. With his contract with the Santa Catarina team coming to an end in July, the 22-year-old player will need to decide whether he will return to Alvinegro or negotiate a new contract with Tigre.

According to Meu Timão, the athlete's situation remains undefined with 32 days remaining until the end of the contract. During this period, even awaiting definition, he continues training at the Criciúma CT.

The publication explains that the trend is that the decision on Léo Mana's future will take place over the next few weeks. There are five games left for the team until the end of the young athlete's contract.

Criciúma has duels against Sport, Ponte Preta, Vila Nova, Novorizontino and Náutico, all for the Brazilian Championship Series B.

At the moment, the team from Santa Catarina is in third place in the championship, with 27 points, behind only Novorizontino and Vila Nova.

Little space

Despite his good campaign overall, Léo Mana has had few opportunities since joining the team. There were only two games for Série B 2026, and in both of them he came off the bench.

Last season, there were six games with the Criciúma shirt, accumulating 170 minutes on the field. This year, there are only 33 minutes added.

Created by Terrão, Léo Mana accumulated 112 games between the under-17 and under-20 categories. As a professional since 2022, the player played in 30 matches with Corinthians, 18 as a starter. He has a contract with Timão until December 2029.
