At 76, Guinga reinforces his connection with producer Kassin in 'Catonho', his first solo album in five years

Guinga releases 'Catonho' on Wednesday, June 10th, the day of the 76th birthday of the artist from Rio 76th birthday of the singer, composer and guitarist from Rio.
Recorded in March 2026 at Estúdio Marini, in the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), the EP "Catonho" reinforces Guinga's connection with Alexandre Kassin, music producer of the aforementioned album "Zaboio" and also of this new album by the artist.
Mixed and mastered by Kassin himself, the EP "Catonho" features two new songs written by Guinga. One of them is the title song "Catonho", in whose lyrics the artist follows the trail of paths and memories of the Rio suburbs.
The other new feature is "Rua do Pecado", a song composed by Guinga in tribute to the artist's deceased mother, Dona Inalda. Guinga has already shown "Rua do Pecado" in some recent shows, but the first phonographic record of the song is the one presented in "Catonho".
The album was created by Fernanda Vogas, executive producer who publishes "Catonho" on the Vogas Produções label with distribution in the digital phonographic market by Tratore.
