Astrid Fontenelle repudiates the term "adopted" and comments on her son's video

Presenter Astrid Fontenelle, 65, spoke out to her son this Monday (25), the date that celebrates National Adoption Day. She commented on a video published by Gabriel Fontenelle, 18, in which he talked about the importance of the date.

Astrid reiterated that she doesn't like people describing motherhood in a different way when it comes to adoption.

"Don't adjective motherhood! 'Astrid and her adopted son walk in the mall'. Gabriel is my son and that's it. And, Gabriel, you are the best," she wrote.

In the video published by the young man, he argued that adoption should not be seen as "pity" or "luck". "We talk a lot about the pregnancy process, but we have to start talking more about adoption because it's a beautiful, natural and normal process," said Gabriel.
