Astrid Fontenelle criticizes Virginia and Deolane's ostentation: "It's empty"

Presenter Astrid Fontenelle, 65, criticized the culture of ostentation propagated by social media. In an interview given during the Cunhã Festival, in Manaus, she declared what bothers her most about social media.

"It's called 'The most expensive bag', that's very empty, if a person needs a more expensive bag to exist, it doesn't exist", she pointed out.

The presenter also commented on the controversy involving influencer Virginia when she kissed a monkey in a zoo in Dubai last week.

"Virginia could have such fantastic reach. One day she wears a R$18 billion watch and the next she kisses a monkey. This is unacceptable, she supposedly lived with a black man. She should understand the problems, the issues. And then she kisses a monkey?", she questioned.

Astrid also commented on the solution to the problem: "Would you like to stop for a while and study? Change your friendships? Hang out with a more intelligent type of people who can show you other paths? Because the path is not the luxury bag."

Without mentioning names, she also commented on the influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra, 38, who was arrested this past Thursday (21). "The luxury bag is in prison today, look how ugly it is, how sad for the girl who has no information, no cognition to realize that wanting to have a bag is very little", she joked.

After speaking, Astrid Fontenelle joked: "I gave it to you, there's trouble brewing."
