Assault ends with man shot in Pinheiros, in the west zone of SP; video

A man was shot in the early hours of Wednesday (27) after reacting to a robbery on Bianchi Bertoldi Street, in Pinheiros, in the west zone of São Paulo. According to preliminary information from the Military Police, the criminals fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Hospital das Clínicas, where he remains under medical care. There are no updates on his health status.

According to the incident report, three men approached the victim, a 24-year-old man, and announced the robbery. At one point, the man reacted to the action and was shot. The criminals fled afterwards.

CNN Brasil had access to images from security cameras that show motorcycles circulating through the region where the incident was recorded at 1:13 am. The crime occurred around 1:25 am, according to the PM.

In a second video, the victim is lying on the ground already injured. Two police vehicles were at the scene and rescued the man.

In a note, the SSP informed that the forensic investigation was called in and the case was registered as a robbery at the 14th DP (Pinheiros), which carries out investigations - including image analysis - to identify the perpetrators.
