Arsenal's top scorer scores but Sweden and Greece draw in pre-World Cup game
Sweden and Greece played a game full of emotions in the early afternoon of this Thursday (4), at the Strawberry Arena, in Solna. The friendly to prepare for the World Cup ended 2-2.
Kostas Tsimikas opened the scoring in the ninth minute of the match, Viktor Gyokeres, Arsenal's top scorer of the season with 21 goals, equalized seven minutes into the second half and Nilsson scored the turning goal. Greece managed to find a draw with Masouras in the 49th minute of the second half.
The Swedes are in Group F of the World Cup and debut against Tunisia on June 14, in Monterrey, Mexico. The team will still have the Netherlands and Japan as opponents in the group stage. Greece did not qualify for the World Cup.
