Arrascaeta leaves Uruguay training in pain and could be out of the World Cup
Attacking midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta was injured during training this Tuesday (2) and raised the alarm in the Uruguay national team.
According to the newspaper Ovación, the Flamengo player left the field with muscle pain and will undergo medical examinations this afternoon to determine the severity of the injury.
If the tests detect serious muscle damage, Arrascaeta could be cut from the World Cup, which starts on the 11th.
Uruguay debuts on June 15th against Saudi Arabia. Afterwards, the Celeste team faces Cape Verde, on the 21st, and Spain, on the 26th.
