Around 150 kilos of cocaine are seized inside containers in SC

Around 150 kilos of cocaine were seized, this Friday (19), in a transport company in the municipality of Navegantes, in Santa Catarina. The action was carried out by the Federal Revenue Service, in conjunction with the Federal Police.

At the time, 136 packages of cocaine were found hidden inside hollow iron tablets, in containers that were going to Spain. After this first retention, work was carried out to monitor cargo with the same risk profile, which led the team to three more containers.

The operation is part of the continuation of an action that took place on June 9, in the same city.

This week, the containers were taken to a location specialized in handling scrap for extraction and subsequent inspection by the Federal Revenue Service. After being downloaded, another 139 packages were found, similar to those previously retained.

The drug was taken by the Federal Police to carry out investigations.
