Ariana Grande postpones three shows and explains why: "It was the safest option"

Singer Ariana Grande, 33, announced the postponement of three performances of her "Eternal Sunshine" tour in the United States due to operational issues. The star said she made the decision to ensure the safety of everyone involved and ensure the show goes on as planned.

In a post on Instagram Stories, the artist apologized to her fans for the changes to the calendar.

"We are extremely sorry about these date changes. This was the best and safest option, as these production issues were brought to our attention. The most important thing for all of us is safety, above all else, and also ensuring that you see the show as intended. Thank you so much for your understanding and I can't wait to see you," wrote the "Wicked" actress.

The changes affect three tour dates. The show scheduled for July 12th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn has been rescheduled for July 14th. The performances scheduled for July 22nd and 24th, at the TD Garden, in Boston, will take place on July 23rd and 26th, respectively.

The organization informed that tickets will remain valid for the new dates and that fans will be notified directly with more details about the rescheduling.

The tour promotes the 2024 album "Eternal Sunshine", and marks Ariana's return to the stage after a period dedicated to filming "Wicked" and "Wicked: Part 2", adaptations of the Broadway musical in which she plays Glinda.
