As Brazil has advanced to the second phase of the World Cup and matches can take place during business hours, banks will be able to adopt reduced opening hours when games coincide with the opening hours of branches.
In these cases, the opening hours for the public will be:
Game at 2pm: service from 9am to 12pm;
Game at 4pm: service from 10am to 2pm;
Game at 5pm: service from 10am to 3pm.
According to the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban), branches that already open at 9am will maintain this opening time.
