Anitta, Lisa and more: find out everything about the opening shows of the World Cup

The opening ceremonies of the 2026 World Cup continue this Friday (12), with performances by Anitta, Lisa, the group Blackpink, Katy Perry and more artists.

The second opening will take place in Toronto, Canada, at the BMO Field stadium, before the Canadian team's debut against Bosnia Herzegovina. The opening must take place an hour and a half before the start of the game, scheduled for 4pm (Brasília time).

In Canadian lands there will be performances by Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, William Prince and Nora Fatehi. Also participating in the party are Palestinian singer Elyanna, French rapper Vegedream and Bengali DJ Sanjoy.

To conclude the trio of opening ceremonies, the night of the party begins in the United States. From SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, Katy Perry, Future, and a joint performance by Brazilian Anitta, Lisa and Rema take to the stage. They are on the musical album produced by FIFA for the World Cup.

With the game between the United States team against Paraguay scheduled for 10pm (Brasília time), the show should start ninety minutes earlier, around 8:30pm (Brasília time).
