Ancelotti says controlling the game against Norway was "more complicated"

Carlo Ancelotti, coach of the Brazilian national team, spoke to the press after being eliminated by Norway in the World Cup. The coach explained the strategy adopted by the team, which chose to give possession of the ball to the opponent and explore counterattacks.

In the second half, the Norwegians increased their control of the game and began to dominate possession of the ball with more intensity. The European team finished the match with 66% possession, compared to Brazil's 34%, in addition to almost doubling the number of passes exchanged (680 to 329).

I think Brazil with this squad could compete. In today's game it seemed like a game in which the team had controlled, we had opportunities, it was more complicated to press high, because Norway lowered Odegaard a lot, so it was a risk for Haaland's speed in one-on-one situations.
