Ancelotti says Brazil lost intensity in the 2nd half against Haiti

Brazil reached the top of Group C in the World Cup after beating Haiti, but, even though they played better than in their debut, the feeling is that they could have done more against an opponent considered fragile.

After opening 3-0 in the first half and having some goals disallowed for offside, the team ended up giving the Haitians more space to attack. According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, the team could have been more intense.

"The system changed a little, more arrived compared to the first half, we also had the opportunity to counterattack, we scored with Endrick, one on the post with Martinelli, so we could have played better, yes, with more intensity, but I believe it is a moment in this World Cup that sometimes you also have to think about other games", said the coach at the press conference.

Ancelotti highlighted the team's evolution in aspects that he considered worrying against Morocco, such as the number of passing errors.

"It was what I expected [the performance], better quality, fewer mistakes, more control behind, defensively it was a good game. We improved, we will improve in the next game. We have to take advantage of this group stage to start the knockout stage well", he concluded.

Focus on Scotland
During the interview, Ancelotti denied that he was thinking about the knockout games. The Italian stated that the objective now is to have a good game against Scotland and finish first in Group C.

"We don't think about the knockout stage, we think about playing well, improving against Scotland, winning the game, if possible reaching first place in the group, which could be important for the future", he said.

"Scotland has its characteristics, it can create problems, because today it created problems against Morocco. It's calm, tranquility, keep working to improve."
