Ancelotti reveals Neymar's physical condition: "He can play 90 minutes"

On the eve of the duel against Norway, in the round of 16 of the World Cup, Carlo Ancelotti still needs to manage the problems caused by injuries to the Brazilian team's squad.

Without Raphinha and Lucas Paquetá, both out for physical reasons, the coach is also monitoring the situation of Neymar, who recently recovered from an injury and could be an option for the match.

Even with the possibility of using the number 10 shirt, Ancelotti adopts a cautious speech. In an interview with Folha de S. Paulo, the coach once again commented on the striker's physical condition.

Neymar was preserved in the victory over Japan, but, according to the Italian, he is capable of remaining on the field throughout the match, if necessary.

"The important thing is that he can play. How long, no one knows. He has the experience to handle the pace of the game. When I understand that the team needs him, I will put him on. He can play the 90 minutes", he guaranteed.

Ancelotti also highlighted Neymar's attitude during the period in which he was out of the team, praising the way the attacker faced the situation.

"He is not content, but he behaves and trains very well. Neymar is very respectful, kind and loved by his teammates. I am very happy with him. And he wants to play, as he always has", he said.

"He doesn't ask 'I want to play', but it's quite clear. It's positive. A player can't be happy being on the bench," he assured.
