Ancelotti prepares changes for Brazil x Haiti; see probable lineup
Unhappy with what he saw against Morocco in the World Cup debut, Carlo Ancelotti is preparing changes to the Brazilian team for the duel with Haiti, Friday, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in Philadelphia.
Danilo, at right-back, Fabinho, in midfield, and Matheus Cunha, in attack, are the most popular names to join the team. They would replace Ibañez, Casemiro and Igor Thiago.
Luiz Henrique also has a good chance of starting among the starters in place of Lucas Paquetá, which would make the coach return to using the four-striker scheme he likes so much.
Neymar is out of the game against Haiti
Raphinha and Gabriel Magalhães have been carrying out load control and, therefore, did not participate in all of Tuesday's training. But both must be ready to face the Haitians.
It is certain that Neymar, despite having returned to the field, is still in physical transition and will not face Haiti. He did activities on the field accompanied by physical trainer Cristiano Nunes.
Thus, Brazil should take to the field against Haiti in Philadelphia with the following lineup:
- Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães and Douglas Santos; Fabinho and Bruno Guimarães; Luiz Henrique, Raphinha, Matheus Cunha and Vini Jr.
