Ancelotti makes two changes to the squad for the duel against Haiti

The Brazilian team is set to face Haiti, this Friday (19), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Philadelphia Stadium, in the second round of Group C of the 2026 World Cup. Coach Carlo Ancelotti made two changes in relation to the team that debuted in the tournament against Morocco.

In defense, Danilo takes over from Ibañez. In attack, Matheus Cunha replaces Igor Thiago. The rest of the team was kept for the match that could put Brazil back in the fight for the top positions in the bracket.

The Brazilian team began their journey to the World Cup with a 1-1 draw against Morocco. Saibari opened the scoring for the Moroccans, but Vini Jr. scored in the opening stages and secured a point for the Seleção. With the result, Brazil occupies third place in Group C, with one point won.

Haiti, in turn, is looking for its first points in the competition. In their debut, the Caribbean team was defeated 1-0 by Scotland, in Boston, with a goal from midfielder John McGinn. The result left the Haitians in the last position of the bracket.
