Ancelotti explains Endrick's choice against Japan: "He played a very good game"
Brazil defeated Japan 2-1 this Monday (29), in Houston, and advanced to the round of 16 of the World Cup. After the match, coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed the option for Endrick to replace Lucas Paquetá during the match.
"Yes, we can start that way, it's true that we need to put more strength in the area. Endrick could put that strength and more presence in the area. He played a very good game because he was intense and dangerous", explained the Italian coach.
The 19-year-old striker came off the bench right at halftime of the game, when the Brazilian team was losing 1-0. According to the "Sofascore" platform, the player took a shot and suffered a foul during his time on the field.
