Analysis: PF advances and reduces Vorcaro's plea bargain window
The Federal Police launched, this Tuesday morning (26), the eighth phase of Operation Compliance Zero, with one of the targets being Cláudio Castro (PL), former governor of Rio de Janeiro. The investigation investigates the contribution of R$3 billion from Rioprevidência to Banco Master, an institution linked to Daniel Vorcaro.

"If he put so much privileged information about such important people on his cell phones, with the aim of protecting himself, of having ammunition, what's the point of not incorporating all these figures into a plea bargain proposal?", he asked.
Negotiation impasse
The analyst recalled that the PF has already rejected an initial proposal presented by the banker, and that there is still a negotiation window with the Attorney General's Office.
After this refusal, lawyer José de Oliveira Lima left the ex-banker's defense and, to date, Vorcaro remains with only lawyer Sérgio Leonardo.
"No one really knows if they will come with a broader proposal, if they won't, when they will come, in what form. But the longer it takes, the more the PF demonstrates that it has a lot of details, a lot of information", said Clarissa.
