American tourist is found dead at luxury hotel Rosewood, in SP

A 40-year-old woman was found dead this Sunday afternoon (31), at the Rosewood luxury hotel, on Rua Itapeva, in Bela Vista, in São Paulo. The victim was identified as Hilde Ann Lynn, an American tourist.

According to the SSP (Public Security Secretariat), military police officers were called to respond to the incident and, at the scene, they were informed that the victim had been found inside one of the rooms. Samu was called and found the woman dead at the scene.

The case was registered as a suspicious death by the 78th Jardins Police District, and tests were requested from the IC and IML. The SSP reported that efforts are underway to clarify the case.

In a statement, the hotel confirmed the death of the guest and stated that it was providing support to the competent authorities. Check out the note in full:

"Rosewood São Paulo confirms that guest Hilde Ann Lynn was found dead on the afternoon of this Sunday, May 31st.

Since the incident was discovered, the hotel has provided full cooperation to the competent authorities, promptly providing all the information requested to assist in the investigation of the facts.

Out of respect for the privacy of the guest, their family and the work of the responsible authorities, the hotel will not comment on additional details at this time."
