Amanda Kloots turns her late husband's ashes into a diamond ring

American TV presenter Amanda Kloots, 44, showed off the black diamond ring she created from the ashes of her late husband, Nick Cordero.

"I used some of my husband's ashes to grow this beautiful diamond so he could be with me every day," Kloots wrote in an Instagram video this Thursday (18).

When showing the accessory, it is possible to identify the change in color of the diamond. The moment the light hits the stone, it turns blue. "The way this beautiful stone turns blue when light hits it is pure magic," she said.

In the caption of the publication, the actress explained the ring proposal.

"The stone is designed so that it is always in contact with my skin, and Nick's initials are engraved on the underside - a beautiful reminder that he is always with me," described Amanda Kloots.

The Broadway actor passed away at age 41 in July 2020 after being hospitalized due to COVID-19. In addition to leaving behind his wife, with whom he had been married since 2017, he left behind his son Elvis Eduardo Cordero, 7, born on June 10, 2019.
