Almost all the heads of La Guaira's government died, says Delcy Rodríguez

Almost all the heads of government bodies in La Guaira died in the two earthquakes that hit the region last Wednesday (24), said Venezuela's interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, in a press conference this Thursday (2).

"...in the state of La Guaira, almost all directors of the state government died," she said during a press conference.

She also claimed to have spoken to 72 heads of state and government after the earthquakes.

"We have declared a period of national mourning, but we have not yet completed the search and rescue phase," he added.
