Alison dos Santos overcomes her rival at his home and wins gold in the Diamond League
Brazilian Alison dos Santos, known as Piu, won, this Wednesday (10), the gold medal in the 400m hurdles event at the Oslo stage in Norway, of the Diamond League.
The athlete had a time of 46s89. Norwegian Karsten Warholm, who was competing at home, took the silver medal with a time of 47.40.
The result maintains the unbeaten record of Alison dos Santos, known as Piu, for the year and in the Diamond League. It is worth remembering that he had already won the last stage of the competition, in Stockholm, Sweden, in addition to the 300m hurdles in Shanghai, China, in April.
The next stage of the Diamond League 2026 will be on June 19th (Friday), in Doha, Qatar.
