The funeral of the former Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei began this Friday (3) in Tehran, capital of Iran, in a private ceremony for government officials and foreign state leaders.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shebaz Sharif;
Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan;
President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili;
President of Iraq, Nizar Amidi, and Prime Minister of Iraq, Ali al-Zaidi;
Vice President of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev;
President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon;
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi;
Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova;
Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of Belarus, Igor Sergeyenko;
Speaker of the Parliament of Bangladesh, Hafiz Uddin Ahmad;
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, Valdrack Whitaker;
President of Iraqi Kurdistan, Nechirvan Barzani.
The Iranian government did not invite any European or US officials to Khamenei's funeral.
