Alckmin: we don't need another Bolsonaro against Brazil in the USA

In conversation with the press this Tuesday (26), vice-president Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) commented on the visit of the pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the PL (Liberal Party), Flávio Bolsonaro, to the United States.

When asked whether the meeting between the Brazilian senator and American President Donald Trump could harm the rapprochement between Planalto and the White House, Alckmin stated that it was up to Flávio to explain the meeting.

Then, the vice-president declared that "we don't need to have two working against" Brazil, in reference to the activities in the United States of Flávio's brother, former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro.

"Regarding the visit of the pre-candidate [Flávio Bolsonaro] to the United States, it is a matter that he must explain. We already had one of the family working against Brazil, we don't need to have two working against it", he said.

Flávio goes to Washington
Flávio Bolsonaro embarked last Sunday night (24) towards Washington amid the crisis in his pre-campaign following the leak of audios of his conversations with the owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, about the financing of the feature film "Dark Horse" - biopic of Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

The meeting between Flávio and Trump is seen as an opportunity to mitigate the effects of publicizing conversations with the banker on voters.

The senator must also present himself to the American president as an alternative to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), mainly in the area of security - an issue of interest to the American.

Although the meeting was not included in the American president's official agenda, Flávio went to the White House at around 4 pm (Brasília time). On his social networks, the senator stated that he would return to bring more details of the meeting, which should take place at a press conference scheduled for 5:30 pm.
