Australian airline Qantas announced the creation of wellness zones on 12 new Airbus A350-1000ULR aircraft. The aircraft are part of the Sunrise project, which brings together routes from Sydney to London and New York, long-distance flights lasting more than 20 hours.

The proposal is to offer a space for passengers to move around during the trip, with options for drinks and snacks. There will be grab bars to facilitate stretching, as well as exercise programs displayed on screens with digital instructors.

With the reduction in capacity from 300 to 238 seats, the structure will be installed between the economy and premium cabins, with acoustic panels and soft lighting. According to Time Out magazine, operations are scheduled to begin in 2027 and the benefits will be available to everyone on board.
