Agricultural influencer is shot dead inside her home in rural MG

Digital influencer Alzira Maria Theodoro Luiz, aged 43, was found dead inside her own home this Sunday morning (7), in Mutum, Minas Gerais, after being hit in the head by gunshots. The motivation for the crime is still unknown.

According to the Military Police, police officers were called at 9:18 am to report a homicide in Córrego da Mata Fria. When they arrived at the scene, the victim was on the ground, already lifeless, with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Witnesses were interviewed by the police, including two neighbors, the victim's brother and son. According to reports, sounds of around 3 to 4 gunshots were heard.

According to the preliminary analysis of the dynamics of the crime, the victim was possibly on the balcony of his residence when the perpetrators approached on a motorcycle. The vehicle involved would be a red Honda motorcycle.

Two shots were reportedly fired outside, one hitting the wall of the house and the other hitting the table on the porch. Alzira would have tried to escape into the house, going through the rooms until the last bedroom to escape through a window. Even so, she was reached and died at the scene.

During police investigations, the motorcycle was located traveling along a dirt road towards Aimorés, but it was not possible to identify the vehicle's license plate.

The Military Police seized two 9 mm caliber cases, two projectile fragments, the woman's cell phone and an air rifle, located on the wall of the room. The victim's body was removed and sent to the IML (Legal Medical Institute) in Manhuaçu.

Alzira was a rural producer and became a digital content creator, known for showing the routine of rural life, work with coffee growing and agribusiness experiences in the region, gaining more than 60 thousand followers on TikTok.
