"To the authorities, today 07/02/2026
I ask for help for my children, family, for my partner. I'm being threatened by loan sharks, it's all on my phone. Because of these threats today I am losing my life, but I ask that you watch over the lives of those who are staying here. I want my daughters to stay with my mother and my sons with their father.
Ribeirão das Neves, July 2, 2026

As determined by the report, Dayanne's debts to loan sharks had already been mentioned by people close to her after her disappearance. The debts would also have led to the loan sharks removing her car.
Eliza Samudio's mother spoke out
Eliza Samúdio's mother, Sonia Fatima Moura, spoke out about the disappearance of Dayanne Rodrigues do Carmo, ex-wife of goalkeeper Bruno, this Saturday (4).
In the video, released on her social networks, Sonia demands that the authorities of the state of Minas Gerais provide a "response to society", stating that they cannot be complicit in the disappearance.
The woman recalls the case of her own daughter, Eliza, who was presumed dead in 2010, when she disappeared after demanding that goalkeeper Bruno assume paternity of his son with her, the result of an extramarital relationship.
"My daughter, 16 years ago, was reported missing. And to this day, there is no answer. My daughter became a statistic. Will Daiane be part of that statistic? I hope the ending is positive" says Sonia.
