After hospitalization, Carolina Dieckmmann warns about kidney disease
Actress Carolina Dieckmmann, 47, used social media last Thursday (4) to detail the health problem that led to a four-day hospitalization this week.
On Instagram, the celebrity published a video warning followers about possible symptoms that could mean a bigger problem.
The actress revealed that she had pyelonephritis, a kidney infection that arises from a urinary infection that is often asymptomatic. "I didn't feel anything. When I realized, I already had a fever of 39 degrees and pain in my lower back," he explained.
Carolina Dieckmmann stated that doctors pointed to a worsening of the condition if nothing had been done in time. "The longer you wait to get the right antibiotic, the easier it is for bacteria to take over your body," she said.
The celebrity commented that an infection can often develop into septicemia, which is a generalized infection, putting a person's life at risk.
"Fever is an important sign that the body is trying to fight something. [It is necessary] to see a doctor and getting tests can avoid more serious complications", he continued.
Finally, Carolina assured that she is feeling well, but there is still a way to go to fully recover. "I'm getting a little better every day. I'm still not completely well because it was a big infection, so everything is still a little inflamed. But I'm taking care of myself", he concluded.
