After friendlies, see how Brazil's opponents arrive at the World Cup

The Brazilian team's debut at the 2026 World Cup is approaching and Carlo Ancelotti's team is in the final stages of preparation for the competition. The yellow-green team is part of Group C, alongside Morocco, Haiti and Scotland.

One of the tournament's top seeds, Brazil makes its debut next Saturday (13), at 7pm (Brasília time), against the Moroccan team, current continental champions. Afterwards, the Brazilians face the Haitians, who return to the World Cup after more than 50 years, and the Scots, who are in contention for the first time since 1998. Morocco

Sensation of the last World Cup, when it reached the semi-finals, Morocco arrives in the United States under the command of a new coach. Walid Regragui, who led the team in the historic campaign in Qatar, was fired and was replaced by 49-year-old Mohamed Ouahbi.

Ouahbi was coaching the country's youth teams, where he became U20 World Cup champion last year. He took over at the end of March, in the friendly against Ecuador, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Afterwards, the team scored victories over Paraguay, Burundi and Madagascar, until finishing 1-1 with Norway.

Before that, still under Regragui's command, Morocco won the African Cup of Nations, a title that was only defined after a court decision. Full-back Achraf Hakimi, a Paris Saint-Germain player, is the star of the squad.

Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Díaz is also a technical reference for the team. I also look at goalkeeper Bono, defender Issa Diop and midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, French by birth and recently naturalized Moroccan. Noussair Mazraoui and Abde Ezzalzouli were injured in the friendly against Norway and became doubtful for the World Cup.

Haiti

Haiti will compete in its second World Cup in history, the first since 1974. The qualification came after the country finished at the top of Group C of the North and Central American Qualifiers, ahead of Honduras, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

After the vacancy was confirmed, French coach Sébastien Migné gained some "reinforcements" for his team, with the naturalization of players such as Wilson Isidor, Sunderland striker, and Lenny Joseph, who plays for Hungarian football. In the friendlies before the World Cup, the Haitians beat New Zealand 4-0 and lost to Peru 2-1.

Qualified for the tournament after 28 years, Scotland arrives in the dispute with an eye on advancing to the knockout stage. The European representative secured his place after an epic 4-2 victory over Denmark, a result that guaranteed the team top of Group C of the Qualifiers.

Scott McTominay, Napoli player, is the biggest Scottish name today. He could have been joined by Billy Gilmour in midfield, but the athlete was cut from the World Cup due to an injury. Promising Tyler Fletcher, who plays for Manchester United, was called in to replace him.

Gilmour was injured in Scotland's rout of Curaçao, which ended 4-1. Afterwards, the team defeated Bolivia 4-0, highlighted by center forward Che Adams, who scored twice in the match.
