After expulsion campaign, group proposes restructuring of Corinthians through judicial intervention

The Time do Povo Project announced the creation of the Libertação Corinthiana movement, an initiative that succeeds the Expulsion Já! and intends to concentrate efforts on proposals considered structural for Corinthians. The presentation of the new movement was made through an invitation addressed to supporters of the previous mobilization.
According to the document, the closure of Expulsion Já! occurs after the group considers the two main objectives of the campaign to have been achieved: the approval of the agenda for the expulsion of former presidents Andrés Sanchez, Duilio Monteiro Alves and Augusto Melo from the club's membership, in addition to the mobilization of fans around the discussion on governance and accountability of directors.

The three former presidents left Corinthians' membership in recent weeks. Andrés Sanchez and Augusto Melo were expelled by decision of the Deliberative Council, while Duilio renounced his title as a redeemed member before being put on trial.
"#ExpulsionJá ends its activities here, and invites all of you to take the next step with us", states the text. For the organizers, the strategy of seeking individual punishments has reached its limits, making it necessary to move towards structural changes in Corinthians administration.
The new initiative presents itself as a movement aimed at combating impunity and institutional restructuring of the club. Among the principles defended by the creators are the construction of a "clean, transparent, strong, modern, professional, democratic and popular" Corinthians.
In the document, the group states that the problems faced by Corinthians are systemic and cannot be resolved simply by replacing specific managers. Although it expresses its position in favor of the departure of current president Osmar Stabile, the movement states that it does not support the possible rise of vice-president Armando Mendonça to command the institution.
The assessment presented is that the difficulties faced by the club arise from structural flaws in the current governance model, which requires consistent and permanent changes.
Defense of judicial intervention
The main banner announced by Libertação Corinthiana is the defense of judicial intervention in Corinthians. To this end, the group intends to promote mobilizations and collect signatures in support of the proposal.
According to the text, the movement supports the legal model defended by the collective Salvem o Corinthians, seen as a precursor to this agenda. The proposal provides for the precautionary removal of the presidents of the Executive Board, the Deliberative Council, the Guidance Council (CORI) and the Fiscal Council, on the grounds of systematic violations of the club's statutes.
In replacement of elected directors, the project suggests the temporary appointment of independent professionals specialized in business restructuring and auditing. These agents would be responsible for conducting an in-depth financial analysis, reviewing contracts considered harmful and administratively stabilizing the club until members regain control of decisions through statutory mechanisms.
Separation between social club and football
Another axis of the movement is the defense of the separation between the social club and the football department. Unlike the judicial intervention agenda, the organizers claim that they do not have a previously defined model for this change.
The proposal, according to the invitation, is for members of the movement to collectively debate which format would be most appropriate to promote the autonomy of football and meet the principles established by the group.
The text does not specify whether this separation would occur through the creation of a Football Anonymous Society (SAF) or another management model, but highlights that the discussion will remain open to the participation of supporters.
Libertação Corinthiana also presents an engagement plan for participants, which includes publicizing proposals on social media, participation in face-to-face actions, collaboration in content production, capturing signatures, holding public debates and voluntary contributions to the cost of movement activities.
The organizers also inform that joining the new project is optional and recognize that some of the supporters of Expulsion Já! may not agree with the new agendas defended.
