After crisis with Michelle, Flávio participates in PL event in Ceará

The senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), participates this Friday night (10), in Fortaleza, in the launch of the pre-candidacy of Alcides Fernandes (PL) for the Federal Senate.

The event, which also brings together the party's pre-candidates for the Chamber of Deputies and the Legislative Assembly, will be Flávio's first major public event in Ceará after the internal crisis that exposed differences with Michelle Bolsonaro over the direction of the PL in the state.

Behind the scenes, the meeting is treated as a test of Flávio's ability to reunite the group and demonstrate control over political articulation in Ceará.

According to CNN's investigation with two sources linked to the pre-campaign, the orientation for tonight's speeches is to avoid intensifying the internal dispute and reinforce the message that the party will follow the decisions of former president Jair Bolsonaro.

The crisis began after disagreements over the electoral strategy in Ceará. Michelle defended the maintenance of Priscila Costa's pre-candidacy for the Senate and criticized the approach between the Ceará PL and government pre-candidate Ciro Gomes. Flávio, federal deputy André Fernandes and the party's state command began to support Alcides Fernandes' name for the Senate race and the political composition in the state.

The clash took on a national dimension after Michelle published videos claiming to have been disrespected and mistreated by Flávio during a conversation about the party's strategy. Days later, she left the presidency of PL Mulher and announced, on Thursday (9), a new political movement, called "Imparáveis".

The expectation for this Friday's event is to see whether Flávio will make reference to the crisis or focus his speech on the unity of the right, the leadership of Jair Bolsonaro and the strategic importance of Ceará for the PL's national project in 2026.

Another point monitored by allies is the space given to Alcides Fernandes during the event. The way in which the state deputy will be presented may indicate whether the party considers its candidacy for the Senate to be definitively consolidated or whether it still intends to maintain room for internal negotiations, given the resistance of the group linked to Michelle Bolsonaro.
