After Brazil's defeat, celebrities invade Haaland's networks: "Was it necessary?"

Scorer of the two goals that resulted in Brazil's elimination from the World Cup, Haaland had social media invaded by Brazilians.

The Norwegian, star of the team, celebrated the country's progress to the quarter-finals of the tournament after 28 years of Norway being out of the championship.

"The 28 year wait was worth it," he wrote in a post after Brazil's defeat.

In the comments of the publication, actress Gorete Milagres, known for playing Filó in "A Praça É Nossa", wrote that he is her "current World Cup idol".

Singer Dilsinho joked. "Luíso, we liked you." Funk artist Kevinho wrote: "Why did you do that? Did you need to?"

Model and influencer Duda Castro said that Norway's real challenge begins now. "Winning the trophy your country has never lifted. Good luck."

Influencer and former BBB 20 member Gui Napolitano asked Haaland to become a Brazilian citizen. "I never asked you for anything."

American actor Terry Crews, beloved for playing Julius, Chris's father in "Everybody Hates Chris", congratulated the player. "Good job."

"Wow, man, it's hard to hate you, you know", commented actress Leticia Salles.
