After being praised several times, singer Taylor Swift, 36, surprised fans by publishing a story praising the new album by Paul McCartney, 83.

When republishing the announcement of "The Boys of Dungeon Lane", an unreleased musical production by the former member of the Beatles, Taylor wrote: "I will never stop being inspired by this eternal, exceptional artist". According to Paul, the album's title originated from an excerpt from the song "Days We Left Behind".

"I was thinking exactly about this, in the days I left behind, and I often wonder if I'm just writing about the past, but then I think: how can I write about anything else?", he said in the launch announcement.

A few weeks ago, in an interview with the BBC's "Tracks Of My Years", McCartney revealed that he met Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish at a party organized by his wife, Nancy Shevell, and daughter, Stella McCartney. The singer also stated that he spoke to everyone and described them as "very good".

Later, in the same chat, the British artist compared Taylor's fame to what his former band experienced during the Beatlemania period in the 1960s.

"Taylor is very good. She's intelligent. And if you see the parallel, the amount of worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we [the Beatles] had. I don't think she needs advice. If she asked me, I would definitely give her advice without a problem, because I'm like a big brother to this generation, or maybe almost a grandfather...", joked Paul.
