After a tribute in a parade, Sasha Meneghel remembers her grandmother, Xuxa's mother

Style designer Sasha Meneghel, 27, paid tribute to her grandmother, Alda, on social media this Saturday (30). She paid homage to the mother of presenter Xuxa, 63, at the fashion show for her brand's new collection.

"I didn't know how much I needed a collection inspired by my grandmother. She was a place of affection, strength and sensitivity for our family, and I'm so happy that today more people know her through Mondepars", he wrote. The matriarch, who passed away in 2018, aged 81, was responsible for creating several of Xuxa's costumes at the beginning of her career.

Sasha remembered the love that her grandmother left wherever she went. According to her, the process of studying Alda's history for the new collection reconnected her with her roots and realized that the origins of Mondepars began when she was invited to paint.

"Her story continues to live in every memory shared, in every teaching transmitted and in every trait of those who had the privilege of being taught by her. Thank you, my Aldinha, for so many memories, for being an example of strength and creativity. For teaching me that life has to be light and joyful and that art is a tool for this", she said.

In the comments, her husband, singer João Lucas, wrote: "My love, I'm sure that, wherever she is, she saw everything with great pride in you!"
