Adele's fiancé breaks silence and tells how he won over the singer

Rich Paul, 45, Adele's fiance, 38, told details about the beginning of his relationship with the singer. The couple has always kept their relationship discreet, but in a recent interview, the businessman and sports agent broke his silence and revealed that their relationship began in a relaxed and natural way.

Appearing on the Glass Half Full podcast, he revealed that he had known Adele for some time before the romance began.

"When you run in the same circles, you end up running into the same people," he explained.

"But I never tried to flirt with people in those circles, because these people deal with that all the time. It's not my style. It was something that happened very organically," he added.

Rich explained that the relationship began with a lot of laughter and that the friendship slowly turned into romance.

"We always met, laughed and joked. It was just cordiality, until it stopped being so. I became a special interest", he revealed.

The businessman admitted that at the beginning of their relationship he knew some of his beloved's greatest hits, but he was not a regular listener.

"It's impossible not to listen to [Adele's] biggest hits. I keep up with a lot of things, so I knew the most famous songs, but not all the ones I know now."

Rich also joked during the interview and said that between him and Adele, he is the "best singer in the house".

The couple began their relationship in 2021 and, in August 2024, Adele announced that she was engaged to the sports agent. The singer was previously married between 2018 and 2021 to businessman Simon Konecki, with whom she had her 13-year-old son Angelo.
